  • We are pleased to announce the launch of a new shape of Fatbar®! New to the product group is the 70mm rise option!
  • The specification is slightly different to a current Fatbar®, as the width on these bars has been increased to 820mm and the back sweep is 9 degrees (Upsweep 5 degrees).
  • We have seen a definite trend swing towards higher rise bars and we are introducing these new shapes to cater to this new demand.
  • From our market research, there are three distinct groups that have requested these products:
  • 1. Tall riders: We used Rob Warner (Elite Downhill racer and UCI World Cup winner, Height: 1,77 m/5'10") as part of our test team and he described the bars as a “game changer”!
  • 2. eBike riders: With less need for an efficient pedalling position and the desire for more comfort, these bars are ideally suited. This was a key driver behind increasing the back sweep from 7 degrees to 9 degrees and offering an increased width of 820mm.
  • 3. Dirt jump and new-school jib-kids: We have a group of test riders within this niche and all of them choose to ride this handlebar now.
